Pre-College Summer Camp Programs

Microelectronics and Engineering Design Camp

Dates: July 6 - July 10, 2009

Time: 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM

Location: University of Maryland, College Park

This camp is an extension of Project Lead the Way activities with C. H. Flowers High School, and is designed to prepare students for fall engineering classes. Topics include: materials properties and selection, product design, prototyping, and electronic circuits. Activities include: metal casting, plastic molding, design a hovercraft, and electronic curriculum. Students will work in teams on engineering problems. Students eligible for this camp must be in the pre-engineering program Project Lead the Way at Flowers High School entering grades 10^th and 11^th. The camp will include fun hands-on activities, meeting a scientist, and a touring an engineering laboratory.

Application:

Students eligible for this camp must be in the Project Lead the Way program at C.H. Flowers High School.

Students, please return the completed application, statement of interest, and photo permission forms to Mrs. Lee, C.H. Flowers High School.
