Lab Tours: Electrical and Optical Properties
Students will examine the behavior of LEDs and other rectifying components. Students will discover: 1) why LEDs are rectifying components, 2) the relationship between the LED color and the current flowing through the LED, and 3) why LEDs are being used for many everyday applications, such as traffic lights and automobile lights.
