Science, Engineering and You

Offering a great mix of introductions into various fields in science and engineering, this camp is great for curious science-minded elementary school students. The camp will start with some very basic questions of science, such as how to make an observation and how to relate an observation to a conclusion. It will continue as the campers apply these lessons in hands on activities exploring the states of matter, forces and pressure, sound, chemistry and circuits. These investigations will be carried out with an emphasis on how scientists and engineers do things to give an impression of these fields are like. This camp will run two sessions, Session I from July 10-14, 2006 and Session II from July 24-28, 2006
