~ Engineering Design Camp ~
Engineer Your Future! This camp is designed for students entering grades 11-12 with an interest in engineering. The camp will include:
- Introductory AutoCAD training taught by GK-12 Teaching Fellows, who are graduate students in engineering at the University of Maryland.
- A fun exciting project that will incorporate the AutoCAD training and introduce engineering design fundamentals, which includes structures, design, planning and modeling.
- Benefits:
- Practical application of engineering skills.
- Careers - learn what engineers do in the real world.
- Computer Training - learn a powerful software program that is used by engineers all over the world.
- Preparation for College – learn college freshman engineering lessons.
- Improve problem-solving skills.
