Mission Impossible: The Science Behind Spying
Dates: June 18 - June 22, 2007

Become a MRSEC Special Agent! This camp is designed for students entering grades 6-8 with an interest in problem-solving, team-building and exploring some of the science and technology behind spying. The camp will include:
Topics:
- Problem-solving activities
- Team-building activities
- Codes and code cracking
- Science of night vision spy equipment
- Circuits
- Lasers
- Much more!
Hands-on Activities:
- Decipher and create microdot messages
- Building and disarming alarms
- Using scientific instruments to gather clues
- Finger printing and dusting
- Laser maze
- Spy missions
Special Features:
- Field Trip to International Spy Museum in Washington, D.C.
Field Trip Costs: Spy Museum admission: $16.00, Metro fee: $3.70
